The AK is a 2002 vintage Romanian SAR-1. It has perfectly aligned, plumb sights and little to no wear or scuffing to the metal bits. I was surprised to see a used AK in Grice's inventory, because they tend to steer clear of taking non-AR "milsurp" guns on trade or outright purchase. But at around $530 OTD, I couldn't pass up a quick project when I had the Combloc laminated wood set and unknown PG just taking up space. Especially an SAR-1 with the desirable factory double-stack magwell and magwell dimples.

Scratched a long time itch and bought a Savage 1907 in .32 ACP. I don't normally bid on stuff on GunBroker, but it's getting nigh impossible to find old guns in my LGS anymore. Took a chance and won an auction last night. Hopefully it gets here soon.

A running, driving truck for only 6 months of gun budget would seem to be a good trade if your budget is anything like mine

Well, it technically wiped out my everything extra budget for awhile. With the price of trucks right now, I did pretty damn well and don't have any payments to make.

Those GMT 800s run forever, but they do have their foibles as they age as any vehicle does.

    Congratulations!

Went to pick up my 686 6" - hot deal from Palmetto Of course while there, in the case a nice 2.5" 686 and a smokin deal.
Ugh, I can't resist deals on sexy guns. Then, a beautiful lever action Rossi in 454 Casull! I don't have any levers in 454. Anyone have any experience?

Guy came in shop with some old guns that he needed to get out of the house because Dad died, and no one wants guns
in the house - can you imagine! - lol. Guns were junk but a nice Smith and Wesson leather holster so home with me
it goes - just needs to be cleaned up!

Different caliber, but i just sold an identical Rossi in 44mag to another forum user, replaced with same model but in 357 in blued finish.

The 44 mag had accuracy issues when I got it, fixed by factory warranty. Shot good after they fixed it, only got rid of to consolidate calibers.

Didn't know any came with a recoil pad from factory but maybe because of the caliber?
