Grips are a lot smaller than I expected though.
Would making shims from 1/8" clear plastic work?

There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I've learned they are "gunfighter" grips, they're cut in a way that prevents the gun from rolling when you shoot it. I find them really uncomfortable, and the frame smacks into my hand right below my thumb under recoil so I'm definitely putting on something different.

I've had it backwards, then. I thought the grips were designed to convert linear recoil into a roll. I know I have never grown accustomed to holding them.

Got my MR920 Elite and 2 range sessions under the belt. First was break-in and sighting in the dot. I had multiple failures to feed until around the 100 round count. Haven’t had one since and I’m about 400 rounds in. Setting up the RMR was very easy and slowly getting more used to it. With their slide cut you can see the sights through the optic which is really nice.

I bought an OWB kydex holster for it and it has some play while holstered. I get the audible retention click when inserting but then there’s a little wiggle left in it which I think may be caused by the trigger guard reduction compared to standard G19. Changing retention scenting doesn’t improve this, I can tighten it to the point of almost not being able to withdraw it. So it’s secured, but with a little play. I may look for a maker that has a dedicated Shadow Systems holster.

Standard single action army grips are, the "gunfighter" grips were designed for cowboy action shooting.

It came from the factory with Gunfighter grips? I don't see that listed on their site. The current, or "New Vaqueros" have a smaller grip than the Blackhawk. I switched my Vaquero grips out with a set of Altamont grips. Mainly because I liked the look, but they feel good, too.

They definitely seem to be cut that way

She's sexy, for sure. OC'ing her in a drop-leg holster would be cool.

I ordered one of these today, even though I said no more guns this year like 4 guns ago now. But it was on clearance for $150, and I dont have a shotgun in the stable yet

Jp scs h2 setup for folding stock and a Sylvan gen 3 folder with the bolt extension to work with JP system. And another one of the kick ass 3.5lb single stage drop in match triggers from LJs AR parts (that strangely look just like a PSA drop in).

Pantheon Arms DOLOS kit is on order too. Takedown side charge 300blk pistol here i come
