    So after a very long story Ruger has replaced my series of warranty replacement Wranglers with a stainless Vaquero in .45 lc



    and in a very Cruzan-esq move I BOUGHT A FUCKING FAL WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP

    Why get the FN FAL with a thumb loop stock without the flash hider?

    Because the scope and mount that's on it can be sold for enough for the rifle to be nearly free. Also I can thread the muzzle in about 2 minutes.

    I was looking for a Vaquero in 45LC to match up with my Henry in 45LC, but now looking to sell the Henry. I still want that Vaquero though, looks great!

    Grips are a lot smaller than I expected though.

    Yeah, its the same frame size as a Blackhawk but they really thinned the grip panels down for some reason.
