did you have to get any of the order forms notarized?

minor pitting, not bad at all. I got a 1911 and a Winchester Garand last year, but got this order notarized just in case - small thing to do to assure no issues

Tag says Muzzle reading 1 and throat reading 2. I'm no expert but from what I read that's pretty good! 0 being best and don't want muzzle over 3 really or throat over 5? Also says sa 7/48?

Bought an Advantage Arms .22LR conversion for my gen 3 G23. The company stresses use of high velocity cartridges because standard velocity won't reliably actuate the slide completely.

I fired 1070 fps (standard velocity) CCI 40gr round nose with no problems. I also fired CCI 1200 fps target 40gr round nose. Very happy with the product. It has no influence on the trigger at all, making it a great way to save ammo costs while extending the building of trigger control, muscle memory and such.

The slide is aluminum, and the ammo is much lighter than the gun's original ammo, (10 rounds of .22LR) adding up to the gun being a bit lighter than original stock configuration. Maybe that would be a consideration to some. I don't find it a negative.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Just got it yesterday. Built pretty damn sturdy, thick wall receiver. Going to build a 8.5" in .45acp
    It takes glock mags.

Today I bought a Heritage Barkeep 2" and changed the grip to a birds head. The Rough Rider parts will fit the Barkeep, so I have a .22 magnum cylinder I can use in the Barkeep.

From November 1st, 2022 until January 15th 2023 there is a $30 rebate on the Rough Rider, Barkeep and revolver rifle models.

My wife has a pair of Heritage RR with birdshead grips. They match her SASS guns, almost perfectly, so they're good for practice. I've been tempted for a long time to buy the pistol with the 16" barrel. But I feel like the novelty would wear off fairly quickly, and then it would just sit in the safe.

So you have an HRA receiver, and the throat and muzzle are about the best that you can hope for. As far as the "sa 7/48", it could be referring to the barrel being a Springfield barrel manufactured in July of 1948. Not sure, but when you pull the charging handle back, you can see the barrel stampings at the receiver, and my guess is that will be what is marked there. That would go a long way to explaining why the muzzle has such minimal wear. Being post-WW2 it would probably have found its way into an arsenal rebuild and was probably an old (new) barrel in inventory. I have a SP 3.2M serial numbered receiver with a 1950's SA barrel.
