So funny, when I posted that, I was hearing my father in my head who use to say when I was a kid that he would never buy any companies shirt, hat, etc. and wear it - if they wanted him to wear it, then they can pay him!
I only buy logo'd stuff if I think it's neat - but I hear ya!

So, went to pick up my Colt King Cobra 2" today. Colt has dumped a bunch of "blems" to several dealers and after shopping around, found the best price on GB at $650 with no cc fees and free shipping! Like most comments have said, if you didn't know it was a "blem" you could never tell. We found what I think is a small scratch but that's about it! Now waiting on my custom grips from my guy in Thailand - they are slick.
And of course, while there, a gun came in this morning before I arrived and they set it aside knowing it was wacky enough that I would buy it. The new "Yeet Cannon" 9mm. Love the threaded barrel, double stack mag, grip safety, and newer grips - lol. A nice ugly brick to have just because

In the words of Tim Gunn, If that's the look you're going for, I think it's fabulous.

But it amounts to a new fancy dress on an old whore.

Exactly - lol. I just like quality stuff and goofy stuff I must say though, Hi Point has cleaned up their pistol a little with this new generation - it's still a brick but felt pretty good in the hand.

Traded for a personal "holy grail" firearm, a Rashid (Rasheed) Carbine:

Not mine, but mine's nearly identical except for a really blonde stock and handguard like that of a "Irish Contract" No.4 Mk II Enfield.

Supposedly there were between 6000 and 8000 made, and far less than that imported to the US. Never bought one back in the day because every one I say for sale was "Ratshit" instead of Rashid. This one is really nice, as-new bore, no dings in the wood, so I traded a couple of unused guns for it.

Sweet. Have wanted one of those too. When they were cheaper I didn't and now like everything else hard to find a good one at a nice price! Congrats!

Picked up my Japanese Arisaka yesterday, very happy with it. Has cleaning rod, monopod, AA sights, dust cover, etc. - all matching and in amazing shape And of course, while there, they know I enjoy my 32 magnums so a great deal on a Charter Arms Professional - nice revolver with 7 round capacity.
