I'd buy that for like $40 tops.
I snagged it on Ebay for around $60 new. It's not made out of amazing steel, it's not the most perfect ergonomic tool, but I very much like knives from both of the designers so I would have bought it regardless. My preference is the thin, nimble finger hole Perrin knives like the La Griffe which are just about impossible to have removed from your hand, but I've come to enjoy his knives as just good functional art as well as very handy defensive tools.

I just ordered another MTM ACR7-18 ammo crate. The larger ones cost less per cubic inch, but these fit perfectly in my storage cabinet and I only paid $9.50-12.50/ea for them.

I guess 1/2 what did I buy and 1/2 what did I build - lol.
I was offered a complete Del Ton Upper cheap at my shop, so of course, I had to take it then figure out what I wanted to build.
I was scrolling GB and came across a clear lower - what, I've never seen one, and I do love my unique/different stuff
Then, a light bulb - I always see great looking drop in triggers but what's the use if you can't see them once installed. Clear lower, you can see it, so I got a rise armament don't tread on me drop in.
Added a minimalist stock, and then threw on a grip I also saw a few months ago and thought was just weird enough.................
I have a new muzzle brake coming to replace the plain Jane one and of course, a Lancer clear magazine on the way.
I think it fits my "I like unusual/weird/fun" stuff!

Dig into that clear lower for a bit. Iirc they were made as a display or demo piece for showing off triggers and may not last if you actually use it

^^thanks. Yeah, I was wondering. Was advertised as "fully functional", so does that means it works or it works and is good and safe to shoot? Was hoping that with only a few rounds through it every now and then it would be ok? Will definitely do some more digging.

People have made functional AR lowers from Legos and pine boards.

My guess: if you're using a casette trigger it will probably be fine. I would be worried about the bolt catch though. Try not to run a mag empty so the bolt is held open or dry fire the gun so the hammer hits the mag catch.

^^thanks. Plus areas like where buffer tube screws in are reinforced with a steel ring which tells me it was meant to be functional as well.
