It's from when they first came out. They "recalled" the original mags and made the new ones (I think) 7 rounders. Its probably because they are a MFer to load, especially the last two. Never had any feeding issues with it.

It is a bit snappy, especially with the short grip. I got a couple Mecgar CZ75 compact .40 mags but need a spacer to make it look purdy.

Browning X-Bolt Speed, Suppressor Ready, 308, 18” barrel. Now I have the pleasure of figuring out what glass I want for it. Will be used primarily in PA hardwoods for deer hunting so definitely something with good low or 1x magnification. I’ve been using my one daughters Ruger compact American in 243 and love it’s handling, this is very similar but with a slightly longer length of pull. I haven’t used my full size ‘06 in years and don’t miss it at all.

Nice looking rifle. I just put a Riton scope on my hunting gun (Ruger in 243) and it has been perfect. Take a look at them since they are an American Veteran owned company, and the optics are very reasonably priced. The one below is what I got since its illuminated and works well in the low light of early mornings or late afternoons when our little deer buddies love to come out!

It's my own concoction. Pinewood Derby is Cub Scouts home-carved wood car races and niner would be caliber but the mag looks like a .22

Well...it does look like it's in nice condition. What is the DOM? Sometimes it's just amazing to see how well an old gun has been kept.
