Having sold a few more guns at a recent show, I bought a P210 Carry to go with the P210 Standard I traded for in November:

It's every bit as accurate as the P210 Standard, takes the same mags, and is the same physical size as a Commander 1911. Fits a 1911 holster like a glove. Fired a sub-1" 5-shot group at 50 ft a few times, just like with the P210 Standard.

Are you doing that offhand or are you using a benchrest?

Get a tungsten carbide nozzle from MatterHackers. They're spendy, but cheaper and harder than ruby, and conduct heat almost as well as brass. You do need an all-metal hot end and a firmware that will take you to 300°C.

I like to make useful things. PLA is nice for trinkets, PETG and ABS for light purpose stuff, but those are not strong enough for handles on entrenchment tools or anything that will be load or stress bearing. Post printing... emery cloth works nicely. If you're using a file, make sure it's a good one. This stuff is hard on tools.

Jeff Cooper hold, which I've used since the early 1970s:

Besides, it's only a little over 16 yds.

When I put in a low bid on a gun I'm always 1/2 hoping I'll lose and 1/2 hoping I win - lol. Won this one. Brand new from a shop in NC $250 below Palmetto's current price for it. Wonder what the deal was. After I paid shop said if I'm interested, he has 2 of them if I'm interested in another Stock image from Palmetto. I'm told these GF3 version are good quality. We shall see.
