I got a super sweet deal on the Leupold ($389). I have about $525 tied up in it so far. Still below cost.

Day off so that means gun shop. And as luck would have it, walked in after someone sold them some guns they didn't want anymore. My luck! What an awesome Luger and S&W Model 1903 1st change Won't post prices because you would all flip over the deal - lol. I'm not a Luger expert so if anyone has any info or thoughts pm me. It's waffen marked, pristine condition, all parts match including magazine. 1937 with 4 digit serial number. Aftermarket holster and a couple aftermarket Mec car mags that I didn't even know they made. The 1903 is in ok shape but love the old Smiths in 32 and I haven't seen many with the longer barrel.
Also got some Glock 48 mags. Couple Glock 10 rounders and then couple 15 round Shield Arms mags. Didn't know they made them and have been told Shield Arms are good mags?

Just 2? I ordered a box of 10, and ordered 2 more (identical) ARs. They're going straight into the safe as a gamble on a future ban with grandfathering.

Well, I'd love more, but the budget is what it is. I have a wife and kids to feed, a roof to keep over our heads and bills to pay. And since currently the budget only allows me to grab the little 20 round boxes of ammo, I can try to keep enough ammo for the mags I get.

I have a variety of brands and types of 5.56 and 223. My plan is to get out and try them all and see what works best in my AR then stock up on that
