The 454 Casull is a bit stiffer than 44 Magnum, noticeably so. However, one can fire 45 Colt in the 454 Casull much the same as 44 Spl in 44 Mag, and 38 Spl in 357 Mag.

454 Casull ammo tends to be a bit Cha-CHING! if one doesn't reload.

Ugh, I can't resist deals on sexy guns. Then, a beautiful lever action Rossi in 454 Casull! I don't have any levers in 454. Anyone have any experience?

Guy came in shop with some old guns that he needed to get out of the house because Dad died, and no one wants guns
in the house - can you imagine! - lol. Guns were junk but a nice Smith and Wesson leather holster so home with me
it goes - just needs to be cleaned up!

The 92 in .454 is a thumper. Known for cracking stocks. The recoil pad helps with the thump and potential stock damage.

I have a 44 mag Rossi too - pretty accurate but kicks pretty hard. I have the shorty barrel Yes, the Rossi is new and comes with the recoil pad. Thanks!

The 44 mag had accuracy issues when I got it, fixed by factory warranty. Shot good after they fixed it, only got rid of to consolidate calibers.

Didn't know any came with a recoil pad from factory but maybe because of the caliber?

Lat week I picked up a Taurus PT22. For some reason, I've always wanted one and I came across this one for a good price so I bought it. I have put about 50 rounds through it so far. It's accurate enough for what it is. I can easily ring a 5 inch plate at about 10-12 feet. It has run flawlessly with CCI stingers as is its reputation. The trigger pull is heavy but smooth/fine. I love the tip-up barrel option. Overall, it's a really fun little gun!

If you're just using it for a plinker the magazine disconnect safety can be removed without much effort, they just tend to not be very reliable when you shoot it without a magazine.

Found an old box of Win. 32-20 100gr and a 100 count bag of once fired 7.62(.308win) brass - Lake City headstamps.

I probably paid more than I should have for the 32-20 ammo, but it is a rare day that batches are released by the manufacturers, or brass from Starline. Having another box of ammo, and future brass for reloads, will come in handy.
