Pa is a "two-party" state and surreptitiously recording is a felony 3 (18 PA CSA §5703) unless exempted in §5704 which doesn't seem to apply here. Wonder if they declared themselves and had consent from the seller before recording.

Dear Senator Muth,

I am writing as a follow-up to a call I made to your office regarding the recent illicit transfer of firearms by and between Pennsylvania's Attorney General's office and NBC News of Philadelphia, PA. As evidence, I am providing a link to their story on how they documented their activity, which can be found on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1g-C7c-57U. Employees of NBC News of Philadelphia in conjunction with AG, Josh Shapiro's office, manufactured a firearm from parts in the video and they appear to have violated several state and federal laws in regards to manufacturing and transferring of firearms. As much as I support legal and responsible gun ownership, I equally oppose irresponsible and illegal activities associated with them and believe in maximum sentences for those who violate those laws. This action on their part is akin to the man who demonstrated the he could illegally land his small airplane on the White House lawn or how one would demonstrate how easily they could violate traffic laws by reaching speeds of 100 MPH on the 422 Expressway. All are non-acceptable practices, which are punishable by law and should be.

I sincerely hope that you will join me in calling for a full investigation and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law for all of those who were involved in breaking these laws.
