Following a defensive shooting...
Mods, please move to a better place if you can find one?
Some fresh (to me) thoughts on the aftermath of defending yourself.
There is some advertising and possibly imperfect thinking, but this video brings out some good points

Re: Following a defensive shooting...
Good food for thought. I would add, just for discussion's sake, that if you're in an ER exhibiting symptoms of chest pain or high heart rate you may be given some medication to help calm you down. It's possible at that time under the effect of sedative medication, for some people, to become blabbermouths. Ask what the meds you're given are for before they're given. Remember if you were given meds to help calm you. Anything you say under the influence is suspect. Thinking if the police talk to you there. Could help a lawyer down the road if, God forbid, you need it.
Not a lawyer, but have a pretty good handle on what happens in ER's.It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.
