Holsters in local shops.
I've been too busy working to find a holster that works for me. But there was a Murder less than 5 minutes from us, (Bensalem) right about the time I take my 4 yo to School. This area seems to get worse every day. Can anyone point me towards a shop that can help me out? Thanks.

Tanner's in Jamison would be a good start.
What firearm are you looking to holster up? Holsters are very subjective so it may take a few tries to get one that really works. Also good chance you'll have to look online to get exactly what you want rather than a retail store.

Re: Holsters in local shops.
May I suggest:
Before you go to Oaks (and *do* go to Oaks) and get a custom holster for your personal wireless security device, determine the style of holster you want. One size most certainly does *not* fit all here.
OWB, IWB, appendix, leather, kydex, hybrid, tuckable, retention level, etc. are all considerations.
If you don't know where to start, then Oaks is a good place to consider those things by trying the plethora of options available.

Re: Holsters in local shops.
I found a 10$ blackhawk for my SR9 at Tanners, about a year after I bought the pistol there. I'd rather conceal, because this holster sticks out too far. I also have a P90, and a 22 revolver with a 2 inch barrel. I'm also thinking about a 357 with a 2 or 3 inch barrel. I tried a pocket holster, I think they'd work best. The last time I went to oaks,(Superbowl Sunday) it wasn't worth it. Thank you all for the imput.

If time is an issue I would check Amazon. Always open with many options and easy returns if needed.

Re: Holsters in local shops.
I'd rather just try them on the spot, and give my 20 to 50$ to a regular shop. It's also easier that way.

I have found these guys to always have a large selection. I have been to the New Cumberland store, never Philly...
