    Default 2020 Colt Python 4.25"

I just purchased one for $1400 and was wondering what people who have one thought about it.

I already have a GP100 5", so this will be my 2nd revolver. I'd like to carry it sometimes but mostly it'll be for range fun. I been looking into Simply Rugged holsters for it.

What are your thoughts/review of this gun?

Perfect size for owb or shoulder holster carry. Been looking at those myself since Smith and Wesson insist on putting holes in their frames.

I want one badly, But I only see them at $1600 or so at the fun shows, would wait to see them come down a bit ???. I will be getting out of the .41 Magnum game soon and consolidating wheel guns @ .357 It will be a perfect replacement to my sort of rare S&W 657 Mountain Gun which I will be moving to market soon along with the Henry Big Boy .41, looking to replace that with a Ruger M77/.357 bolt gun

I fondled one extensively at the Outdoors show after the release and at several gun shows/shops they are very nice ! $1400 is my top price but I've never seen one in the wild that low yet

The Colt Python .357 Magnum is THE firearm I want. I have wanted one for years. It is an actual peice of art with functuonality to match.

I'm just too cheap to buy one.

And I, as a geberal rule, don't even like revolvers. I have no nor do I wwant any other revolvers. I am not a revolver guy at all. And the Python is still the most beautiful firearm I have ever seen.

What do you think of Craft Holsters? I just bought one a few days before your post.

Was able to pick one up last week. Very impressed, great finish, very smooth action, 100% A+ satisfied. Colt Python with the 3" barrel.

I never shot anything like that (large caliber w/short barrel). How hard are they to handle and how accurate are they?

Here is the range report. fired 100 rounds of .38 special (50 rounds factory,158 grain LRN Federal & 50 rounds of my reloads Berry's Plated RN 158 grain TiteGroup 3.5 with federal primers, 8 rounds factory of .357 magnum 158 grain SJHP Remington) All shooting done at 10 yards two hands standing double action. The gun was Flawless !! NO issues at all! A dream to shoot! Aiming was all done at dead center. Was not concerned about adjusting the sights, will do that at 10 yards and 15 yards when I get my Wilson Combat sights. My concern today was function and this Python delivered. You can see I was pulling some to the right and low, I was the problem there, trigger control.
