    Default 10/22 bx triggers

Thinking about upgrading my trigger with a Ruger BX trigger. Has anyone used them? What did you think of it? Thanks Al

The bx is better than the standard, but the Kidd trigger job kit is superior. https://www.kiddinnovativedesign.com...ade_p_116.html

I’d also consider the accuracy potential of the rifle. The trigger won’t make a 2 moa rifle into a sub moa. You’ll find more than you want to know about 10/22 upgrades over at rimfirecentral.com.

I put the BX trigger in my 10-22 takedown. The stock trigger was terrible. almost felt like it was full of sand or something. Anyway, the Bx made it ok, but it's still not as good as the triggers on some older marlins or a new savage 22 that I have. As said above, it's gonna help, but the rifle is still gonna be what it is.

My stock trigger has a 6lb pull. I'll bench the rifle and do some slow paced grouping before i decide on an upgrade. I agree on the Marlin and Savage triggers. I have 2 XT'S. And a Savage A22 target rifle.

Agreed. If you're not as handy/patient, KIDD also has a drop-in trigger pack that is exquisite. But it is spendy, for sure.

I went the timney trigger route. No regrets, reasonable pull, smoothness, installation ease ect.. not the cheapest but worth the bucks paid.

Not a BX trigger but I've put in 2 Power custom sear and hammer kits on 10/22 and they are very happy with them.

I still didn't get out to do a steady hold grouping test. Please tell me more about the custom sear and hammer kit. Thanks Al

I did a group test today. At 50 yards. With Federal auto match.
