Keep getting emails

Go to Settings, then My Account, then General Settings. The drop-down is in the Messages & Notification section.

I did all that, unchecked all the email buttons. Still got emails. I went to unsubscribe from the thread,
it said I wasn't subscribed Feds are on to me.

I'm having this same issue, any updates bogey1? I have changed the settings in "Settings> My Account> General Settings > Default Thread Subscription Mode".

I am doing this through a Chrome browser, the mobile screenshots GOYABEAN posted do not look exactly like what I see- might the results change if I were to use a different browser?

AFAIK all the threads I'm getting updates on are those I subscribed to *before* the settings were changed to "through my control panel only". It seems to me that the "through my control panel only" setting is working for threads I subscribe to now and in the future, but that the setting doesn't apply retroactively to threads I subscribed to long ago. I may just need to go in and manually unsubscribe to a bunch of necro-threads.

I can manually change your subscription settings in the Admin panel.

Here are your choices:

Do not subscribe
Subscribe with no notification
Instant email notification
Daily email notification
Weekly email notification

I shot my computer with buckshot, fixed everything I unsubscribed to that certain thread and a few days later they stopped
