So who owns and who is profiting off permitium, and when was this voted on to be allowed?

Sounds like a damn good way to harvest data.

God willing, if we could just get consitutional carry you could save yourself $20.25. However, I think the existing process leaves a lot to individual jurisdictions, which is unfortunate. An anti-gun Sheriff (or Philly Police Commissioner) has too much ability to screw with law-abiding citizens who just want to exercise their consitutional rights. In pro-gun areas, this is less of a problem.

This was actually done by the previous sheriff, but the current sheriff maintains the same addendum. ... I believe this is an illegal addition[.]
I referred this to Val Finnell at GOA and I believe he intends to take action on it. Generally speaking, if a Sheriff is a decent guy, most of these problems should be sorted out with a letter. If they don't, we'll see what GOA wants to do about it, but on its face (and without this being legal advice) I agree with your assessment.

It really does. One of the things that I am curious about is what data is gathered and what they are doing with it.

I’d like to find out more about this, even though it’s not something I have to deal with (yet). I will be seeing my State Rep this evening to pick up petitions and I’ll ask him if he knows anything about it

Who is your state rep and where can I go to sign for Phony Maloney?

I have no idea where Maloney will be getting signatures. Most times they will post signing events on their campaign website (or FB unfortunately). They can’t on their office PA website or official emails

Yeah, I figured even calling his office on it would be taboo.

Unfortunately. Such a question should be considered constituent services

I just pick up my renewal last Friday. Using their new system was way easier then I thought it would be besides the fact they jerked me around about renewing my DL because it was going to expire before the 45 day processing time frame. The day after I uploaded the new DL my LTCF was approved. Well before the 45 day deadline.

The system was easy to navigate. uploading documents needed was easy, even the pick up was easy. Much improvement from the GPU

I don't understand how references can even be on the form, if the form is explicitly stated as being confidential. How can you ask for a references opinion without saying what it's all about?

Hello Mr. Johnson, Mr. Brown listed you as a reference - is he a good person?
    Johnson: What is this about?
    Sheriff: Sorry, can't tell you.
    Johnson: *click*

Is there an extra fee for using this service?
