    Default Ammunition Accountability Bill

This is the newest way to further restrict gun ownership-making ammunition illegal, hard to find or costly. Registration of all ammunition is the first step to outlawing citizens from using guns.

Here's the site that shows the bill is trying to make a nationwide ban on unregistered ammunition:

My eyes glaze over when reading this lawyer speak. What does this mean for those that reload?

How many of those idiots that are pushing this bill are Democrats? Answer: All of them but one. Big surprise.

This bill is back from February. When are they supposed to vote on it?

    Administrative Note:
I've moved this thread to the Law&Politics->National forum. While there are state issues mentioned by the OP as well, let's keep this thread focused on a discussion of a national scope of such an effort. Someone else started a thread in Law&Politics->Pennsylvania on this as well:

    http://forum.pafoa.org/pennsylvania-...ll-2228-a.html

and let's keep PA-specific discussion there.

    Thanks!

If it were that simple I would truely be happy, but we know it is not. If you were correct the AWBs that have been passed would never have made it. The ban on full autos would be repealed, the mag cap restrictions would be removed. This bill scares the shite out of me.

this is kind of off topic but yet related to the talk of AWB.... what makes the AWB any different from the handgun ban in D.C.? they both ban you from owning/purchasing/possessing (pick one) a certain type of firearm.

This bill and many others just as bad or worse are currently bottled up in the Judiciary Committee. They have been stalled there through the efforts of members of this forum and organizations such as FOAC and Allegheny Sportsmen. All of the bills that remain in committee will die when this session of the General Assembly ends. But don't get too cheery, because you can expect them to reappear rapidly after the new General Assembly is constituted. This particular bill was originally discussed back in February when it was first introduced.

You can find the original here: http://forum.pafoa.org/pennsylvania-...mmunition.html
