It's unclear to me if this extends to non-residents?

Re: Alabama & Ohio go constitutional carry
found some more
Senate Bill 215 will let Ohio residents 21 and older conceal firearms they are legally allowed to own without training or permits. It also removed the legal requirement for gun owners to tell police they are armed when stopped. Law enforcement will have to ask, but lying about a concealed weapon will be a misdemeanor offense."It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

Re: Alabama & Ohio go constitutional carry
Congratulation to Ohio and Alabama. Pennsylvania gun owners will continue sitting on the sidelines as democrat governors occupy Harrisburg. Sadly, enough firearm owners help put the Wolfs of the word in power to veto such a measure. We will get to wait a number of years longer if Shapiro wins in Nov.
Ironically, Ohio played catch up to Pa. in progun legislation. The buckeyes still had "may issue" not that many years ago, long after Pa. jumped that hurdle.

Only way PA will ever get a 2a governor is if we cheat more than the others. Or at least get their cheating exposed, condemned, and over turned.

Another reason to retire in Ohio besides giant whitetails.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

Re: Alabama & Ohio go constitutional carry
I've emailed most of the republican candidates with questions including about the 2nd.
The questions were variations of this.
1. What is your stance on the ATF and them creating gun laws. I am thinking primarily of their banning bump stocks, creating new regulations on 80% lowers and potentially banning triggers like the Rare Breed Triggers.
I sent the questions early Tuesday afternoon. Only Corbins campaign has responded and they replied.
Jake has affirmed he will support constitutional carry in Pennsylvania and supported bills in the past that Wolf ultimately vetoed. He'll be a strong advocate for the 2nd Amendment to extent possible with in his powers as governor and through legislative change.
It's a stock answer but at least they replied although the others still might. He says he will support constitutional carry. Unless/until others reply he's got the early lead on getting my support.
I am especially interested in a response from Bartlettas campaign. I've been hearing him on the radio but have a concern. I asked
I was looking at On the issues for your stance on the 2nd Amendment. I saw that it said:
"Q: Support more restrictive gun control legislation? Restrict semi-automatic weapons?
Lou Barletta (R): No, except for bump stocks."
I was wondering what your reason for restricting bump stocks is. Also would your restrictions extend to triggers like Rare Breed triggers and other binary triggers.
Thank you
I will vote for the Republican candidate whomever it is. But the amount of pre election day support will be based on whether I get replies and I think they are 100 percent behind the no infringement part of the 2ndLast edited by Ilikebuckets; March 17th, 2022 at 12:43 PM.
