My Tomcat .32 ACP with new Altamont grips
I'm a sucker for pocket pistols, although I also have larger SD guns.

Any other pocket pistol fans (for collecting or SD), or Beretta Tomcat/Bobcat owners?

Me too. Until I handled one....didn't fit my hand well when I tried the trigger. Your mileage may vary....

Re: My Tomcat .32 ACP with new Altamont grips
Me too, I was eyeing these and the Bobcats in .22, wanted a classic pocket pistol, and a .32 ACP.
I found this used for a very good deal and grabbed it on the spot.
That can be true for many micro/pocket guns. Many quality ones don't fit people's hand size, if anyone's. Grip quality is often something lost or is "good," only relative to other pocket pistols. The Tomcat sometimes get criticized for being a bit too beefy width wise, and all metal. While they are heavier than let's say a Ruger LCP or other micro .380's and polymer .32's (Such as a Keltec P32), the width and beefy grip actually makes them have more of a grip than many of those other guns. Weight controls the already mild .32 ACP recoil, making it a mild shooter.
Right, it is a nice gun for concealment. The only issue is I don't want to put too much wear on it. But, I have carried it a few times.

A coworker used to carry a pair.

Re: My Tomcat .32 ACP with new Altamont grips
I have a 21A. I don't carry it as I pocket carry a micro 380 in warm weather but I have shot it from time to time. I have long wanted a Tomcat as a mate to it but just havent gotten one.
The tip up barrel is neat. And the mag has its own built in loading device. The mag release is in a quirky pkace though.

I like the look of it with those grips.
I like "pocket pistols" too - but I carry them IWB on my hip.
Pockets are for money, loose change, and car keys.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: My Tomcat .32 ACP with new Altamont grips
Nice, it's a good church gun .
Good ol' New York Reload aye?
How is the 21A? I'd like to get one if I find a good deal used. I want to get the whole collection of Beretta tip ups:
1) Minx: 22 Short
2) 21a Bobcat in .22 LR
3) 21a Bobcat or Jetfire in .25 ACP
4) Tomcat: Achievement unlocked
Yeah there is something to be said for holster on the hip. I don't like IWB except for these tiny types of guns. Much prefer cold weather OWB with clothing that covers it.
Winter coats and jackets though have good pockets for carry.
