Default Kimber k6 3" shoots low

Brand new Kimber K6S, 100 rounds, bench and off-hand, shoots 4-5" low at all distances back to 15 yards. Should I send it back to Kimber? I have used various brands and configurations of ammo, 130 gr, 158 gr jkt, 158 gr. .357 mag soft point, 148 gr. waductters. Any advice?
    Thanks.

Before sending it back, I would let another person shoot it.
Not saying anything about your proficiency. It's just a step I'd take to ensure it wasnt the me / pistol combination ir a sight alignment/ sight picture issue.

Then, I'd contact their CS and see what they say.

Is it supposed to be a 'combat hold' and you're doing a center hold? Even so, that would only account for say 2". Not 4-5".

    Agree with 27 above.

I don't blame you. Let them use their ammo to diagnose it.

Ammo isnt required to check if the sights are aligned with the bore. One of those inexpensive firing pin activated laser trainer rounds (maybe ten bucks on Amazon) would verify if there was an issue between where the sights are pointed and where the barrel is pointed.

However, I am going to be less polite that 27hand, it is the shooter. I see this all of the time. The downward flinch is the most common handgun shooting problem. These days, the stuff that leaves the factories is a much tighter set of tolerances than the average shooter.

I'm guessing you shot it off a rest to verify POA/ POI?

Aside from a laser as suggested or having another shooter try it, I personally would shoot it at 3 yards off a rest to get your one hole group ( holdover). Once established, move to 5 and eventually at 10 yards.
I check all.my handguns at 10 if I change sights but have fired my pistols to 50 yards and further.
