    🤔LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — If your youngster has an interest in law enforcement, maybe a career in other aspects of the criminal justice system, Camp Cadet could be just the summertime activity to check out.

    Camp Cadet is run by a nonprofit that's affiliated with the Pennsylvania State Police.

    Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey highlighted the program on Friday with members of the Pennsylvania State Police in Dunmore.

    Sun more? Isn*t that the area where the Troopers are *out of control* a large portion of the time? I seem to recall a few stories of *Trooper rage* up there. Not a place I*d send my kid.

    Youngest attended about 3 or 4 years ago. Met with troopers at Honesdale for interview. Accepted and then a week at Marywood University. He really enjoyed it. Hard work, but a great experience according to kiddo.

    It was Troop "R" Camp Cadet.
