    Default Rep Power and/or Feedback

Hello, was interested in finding out how to increase my rep power, provide positive feedback for a member that I did a transaction with, and have him do the same for me. I did do a search and found two postings from 2006 and 2010 on how to leave feedback but nothing on rep. Any help is truly appreciated, thank you!

If this is like other sites I have been on rep probably depends on post counts and making meaningful posts/contributions to the forum.

Rep may come from number of posts and longevity but I don't know. It definitely comes from clicking on that star on the left corner of their post and giving them positive rep or negative rep. Free prefers negative rep.

On feedback...when starting feedback on a member, only their username is to be in the title. Nothing more and nothing less. We don't get two feedback threads in our name for good and bad, only one. Exact username makes searching them possible.

You don't have any "rep power" to give until you have 50 posts.
Posts in the Lounge do not add to your post count.

Go to the Feedback section to post feedback.

BRB, I'll give you a link...

    Feedback

Go to Advanced Search. Ener the screen name of the person you want to leave feedback for and select "Thread titles" before clicking to search to see if there's an existing thread for said member.

Yes, be sure to search that feedback thread for the other party. Every now and then I see more than one thread for a member.

There is a sticky in this very sub-forum that explains the rep system:

When you see the numbers needed for many of the items/honors listed within, keep in mind that there was a time on this forum when a 3-digit rep power number was actually meaningful...
