As another one that has owned a few Glocks in the past (50 or so) I made the switch to the Shadow Systems MR918 (now updated by the 920 models) a couple of years ago. REALLY like them.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Another vote for the Gen 5.

With one exception, all of the Glock 19 Gen 5s I've handled have noticeably better triggers than those of any previous generation. When the trigger is pulled, the sights on the G19 Gen 5s that my wife and I have DO NOT shift, and accuracy is improved over the Gen 3 and Gen 4 G19s that we used to own but since sold.

I have a few G19 Gen 2 models into which I installed a Zev trigger spring which improved their trigger pulls to the point where the sights don't shift when the striker falls, and we've kept them.

Read your post wrong! You want something other than Glock, I thought you meant you wanted another Glock

The new Beretta 92X series is fantastic.

The P320 AXG Classic may be up your alley.

The CZ 75B Omega 'convertible' is a lot of bang for the buck.

    P226 Legion

    What's your price range?

English, motherfucker! Can you type it?

I second Bortle. Browning High Power. Failing that, a CZ75B or 75B Compact. None with a cheese grater on the dust cover; those are too heavy.

I’ve got one coming in today. A mr920 elite. The surefire x300 and rmr are sitting here waiting for it.

I could not find an mos cut Glock and put it together the way I would have wanted cheaper than I bought this and everyone says it’s how glocks should come
