    Question Club/Range to Zero Firearms

I'm looking for recommendations on a private club or range to zero new rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Most ranges seem packed with people. I've been to a few where there are people waiting behind you for their turn for range time. I've also noticed clubs and ranges that do not accommodate all 3 firearm types.

I was hoping to find a place where it wasn't packed and you could take your time to zero each type of firearm. Does such a place exist in Bucks, Montgomery, or surrounding areas?

depending on how far you are looking to drive. I'm a member of Ridge and Valley in Coopersburg. Seeing you are in Philly, I imagine that might be too far.

I recently moved to Quakertown and was looking at Ridge & Valley. I'm a member of Lower Providence Rod & Gun but it's just too far for me to travel too regularly and R&V is 10 minutes away from me according to google maps! To find a sponsor for membership, I'm guessing you just turn up at a monthly meeting and try and befriend someone?

I'd like to join LP's Rod & Gun club, i wouldn't mind finding a sponsor. I was a member decades ago and grew up shooting trap every friday and saturday night.

I'd happily sponsor you at Lower Providence. Let me know when you plan on going to a general meeting. Next one is on the 7th June. I usually join over Zoom but if you plan on going I will attending in person. There is a waiting list to join right now though.

    JaySmith,

Applications are all done online - https://lprgc.org/?page_id=87 As Karlos stated, their is a large waiting list. If he is willing to sponsor you, you really don't need to attend a meeting unless he wants to meet you first before sponsoring you. Paper applications are not accepted at the meetings. Get his information and submit your application online so that you get on the waitlist.

This. I think it's important when sponsoring someone for club membership you need to at least have met them!

I require that they buy me a beer and a burger at my favorite watering hole for an interview. No refunds if they fail the interview.

I agree. Plus how bad can it be to meet for a drink.
