Change uppers

I have a ar15 SBR in 223. can I take that upper off and replace it with a 9mm upper?
The form is marked .223 for caliber, but the receiver is marked multi caliber.

As long as it can readily be converted back to the listed caliber. Swapping. Uppers is readily convertible and easy. I do it all the time with 223 and 300bo

Good for you if you can*. I alway set out to just swap uppers*.. but ultimately end up building a new lower*.. and then
Have a new rifle*. You’re a better man then Me, if ya can just swap uppers! I find ‘em like eating potato chips,
eat one, eat ‘em all!
