Default Picked up a really nice Mauser single shot training rifle

This thing is beautiful. The bluing is a really nice color, no rust, barrel is excellent, and nice stock. I spent some time cleaning it up. Bolt was covered in a hardened yellow grease. Looks to be an ES340B model with the plastic buttplate made sometime in '34 or '35. Serial # 169xxx. I couldn't believe the condition considering it was stuck in a closet in a soft case for who knows how long.

    Nice !

I have an old Savage / Stevens model 15-A single shot almost in the same condition . Love finding old guns in great shape.
