This guy Richard Robison is so unpopular the York School Board won't post his picture nor can it be found anywhere.

I did find his image in some obscure website.

With his first bullet point, Robinson (left) attempts to explain the difference between *working* for the community and *representing* it. *It is not the same thing,* he says. *[And] you may also be surprised to learn every member of a school board is a taxpayer, too.*

Robinson then advises parents with advanced degrees to spare him the pointing out thereof: *When a person introduces him or herself as a doctor, their education, training and experience matter to me. After all, Jack Kevorkian was a doctor.*

This is your typical leftist schmutz that will declare without missing a breath that he ultimately knows what is best for the children and not you the parents.

Approximately 1978. 2nd child (boy) in middle school (was junior high back then) was acting up. School asked us to come in for a meeting. It was a conference room and table. Two of us, 7 of them. We listened. Then, me wrongly thinking there were thoughts I could contribute to the "discussion", tried to offer some observations. They clearly wanted to hear nothing from us. They were the experts, we were there to be taught. From my experience, reading this thread, things have not changed a lot.

School Board is an unpaid position and you always seem to get your money's worth out of them.

Serious question: Who does he think he works for? I mean, if you're elected to an office or board, are you not accountable to the people who elected you? I would assume there's some sort of recall or impeachment process in place. That would clear the air as to who he works for...it's who can fire him.
