    Default Taurus 327

Anyone interested in the "new" Taurus .327 Federal Magnum besides me? I like the 3" version and I like the caliber because wifey is a bit recoil shy but has been able to get along with my Dad's old S&W "I" Frame Hand Ejector in .32 S&W Long. I know Ruger offers the SP101 in that caliber, but I'd bet I could buy lots of ammo for difference in price.

I have two Taurus 327's - they are neat little guns. Mine are the old style snubby though. Similar to what you were saying, when I was teaching my daughter to shoot, she struggled with 38's, etc., she's a petite girl and didn't like the recoil, but when she shot a 32-magnum snub revolver she fell in love! Ruger's and S&W's are nice but you're correct on the pricing! I like Charter Arms pistols, that's what I bought her - one pink for her bedroom/carry and one goldfinger that I got a deal on for a spare.

A 3 inch would appeal to me.

I'm a big fan of the cartridge - have an LCR, SP101, and Gp100 in 327.
I don't see a 3" model on the taurus website. That would be ideal IMO but it looks like only 2" snubbies for now
