Well if you work in the city, you pay the wage tax no matter where you live.
The Northeast is OK, but that covers a lot of area. Lower Northeast is going downhill. Stay above Pennypack Park and east of the Boulevard.

Just got back from dropping my daughter off at Temple. I normally take 95 to Callowhill to Broad to Mongomery and then return the same way. Today Callowhill was blocked for construction at 11th so it took that to Spring Garden and then back to Broad. There was an accident on southbund Broad before Montgomerty so I decided to take an alternate route home. Montgomery to Germantown Ave. to Girard. What an experience. That area of Philly is a total mess, so don't even think of moving anywhere near there.

I don't know how Temple continues to recruit students given the viloence and deterioration in the surrounding area.

As others have said. Get a LTCF. It solves a lot of problems.

Just took my son back yesterday as well. Area is a total shithole. Temple should be ASHAMED of themselves for not providing better protection to their students!
