Re: Moving into the city with a firearm
Go to google maps, look at philly. Everywhere that it is grey do not go. everywhere that is green, it's less garbage but if it's near philly it's garbage anyways.
Willow Grove is about as far deep into the city as you want to go and even that has become ten times the garbage heap from when I grew up there. If there is a railroad station, expect the cancer to have spread.

Re: Moving into the city with a firearm
Without an LTCF, all federal and state laws on legally possessing and transporting firearms apply. Basically, you must have the weapon unloaded and stored (preferably locked were possible) in an inaccessible area of the vehicle with all ammunition locked and stored separately, e.g., in the trunk. You should proceed straight to the range and straight back.

They watching us, believe me. And I am not a tin foil hat kind of guy. The thing about Philthytown is that you never know where or when you'll get gunned down and if you defend yourself, you'll get the Kyle Rittenhouse treatment. Philthytown has a city wage tax that will eat away at your earnings. I recommend scrutinizing it and possibly working outside of the city. This is a large metropolitan area and one need not go in there to get a job. Where did you live before?

Re: Moving into the city with a firearm
If you're now a PA resident it's probably best to just go get your LTCF. Depends on your city but it's pretty quick to get and only costs about $20 and is valid for 5 years. At our courthouse it's about a 20 minute process from application to approval then they take your photo and you leave with the license.

No, but I consider it part of the rot of the city. The joke is that being several towns outside of the city is as close to the city as you should go and even then, it's too close.
