    Looks like they totally reworked the internals and it doesn't even have the same barrel lockup. Yes it might be nice to just turn a lever to take it apart but save that for your polymer pistols. This it is NOT a Hi power

    Looks odd with ambi controls. Slide looks off too. I'd be a player if it didn't have ambi controls. I don't like ambis on 1911s either. But I'm a righty, so. I see they followed Springfield's lead with the rowl hammer, bigger safety lever, and losing of the mag disconnect safety. Springfield beveled the magwell at least, but their grip panels are dull looking. Not exactly pretty. Still thinking about one though. I first learned of the hi power on Dragnet, where Joe Friday described It as the ultimate police gun or something like that.

    Yep. They're just drawing on the model name. Not even close.
