    Default .357/.38 Leverguns

Anyone seen any Marlin 1894, Winny or Rossi 92, or even a side gate Henry in west/central PA in 357/38 flavor? New or used(kinda preferred for price).

My boy shot my uncle's Marlin 1894 superbly a couple weekends ago, dingers like his life depended on it. I figured something like that would make a good gift for him, but I cant seem to find one.

Also to folks of any age. My boy is 22yo, never really shot anything all that well(I'm probably not the best teacher either, I'm more of a do-er). But my uncle's Marlin '94 seemed to connect with him. Then factor in that my uncle is a great instructor and has a lot more patience. lol

guess this is a done deal, but for future reference when looking for that style rife a good group to contact is your local SASS club.

We don't have a local SASS club. Heck, we're lucky enough just to have a gun shop or gas station within 15 miles.

I was just asking about any being seen in gun shops. Coordinating private stuff is quite difficult for me given my schedule.

But luckily, something worked itself out nicely privately anyways. lol

The part of PA I'm in is somewhat like much of TX. ...rinky dink town - 10 to 30 miles of nothing - rinky dink town - more miles of nothing - maybe bigger/maybe smaller town. In those miles of nothing in TX is often soybean fields and tumble weed, in PA it is trees just fucking more trees.

Glad your son enjoyed shooting it and shot it well. Always gives a dad a nice feeling to witness
A .357 lever gun is on my short "want list" for sure.
