Coworker is a lefty and got the Hellion because you can switch the ejection port from one side to the other.

I have mine setup for left side ejection, but when I first ran it, I shot it left handed with the ejection to the right. I only got hit with brass once.

Maybe, but even if you hit III armor with a 16" barrel, the wearer is still taken out of the fight. From my research, a 20" barrel provides ~3300fps, a 16" barrel is 3100fps, a 10" barrel is 2700fps. If you're hitting meat, any of those would do the job. Even Sir Kyle of Kenosha's steel case .223 out of his M&P sport with 16" barrel had a devastating effect and did the job against non-armor targets, which is bottom of the barrel. That leads me to believe that anything better than that would likely do the job in most cases.

They just import them, they don't build them.
