It seems many other forums have stronger censorship policies, which makes them less desirable and less educational. I know some people here complain that they are picked on or shut down because of their views, really?....they need to go to a few other forums and see what it's like to be shut down. It's one of the reasons I come here as opposed to other places.

Ha, seriously! I'm big on SigTalk lately - it's a very good group. But there was a Canadian guy recently asking a question about getting a pistol, someone joked and said Canada sucks, and he said well our gun laws make it so that there's only 150 homicides per year. I very respectfully said there are way more cultural and socioeconomic reasons for that disparity between Canada and the US, mentioned how 97% of violence is in 3% of the zip codes, typed up a whole response - and my post got deleted because it was in the general gun section not the political section! Pissed me off. And his post was still there!

Agree with all of that except maybe the cool people part. A lot of us on here are anything but cool, wasn't cool when the phrase was new and 40-50 yrs down the road damn sure not now.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to bigandy1966 again.”

That’s really the only complaint I have.

"Gold Standard"? - no, I don't think so.

Some really great people here. The buying and selling has been very productive because so many people are local. Lots of good discussions.

I choose not to mention the negatives as I think most people are happy with the way it is and don't really want to hear them anyway....
