    Default WW II PISTOLS

I completed my Axis and Allies battle rifle collection last year , I am now moving on to the sidearms . My first purchase this year will be the Beretta M1935 .
    The others on the list
    Walther P 38
    Nagant M1895
    Japanese Nambu
    Enfield No.2
    Colt 1911 and or Colt 1917/S&W 1917

All to match the rifles of the same nation .

Nice. I was involved in a similar quest then got side tracked by single shot rifles.

Nice list and best of luck. The only thing I would change is you need a Colt 1911 and a Colt 1917/S&W 1917 (not or). Government 1911's are getting pricey so not many people will fault you for getting a modern example in the original configuration. Good enough for me.

French weapons have lots of damage due to being dropped. The good news is they usually were never shot.

I have an Orgies in 25 ACP. Interesting story Americans were approaching a castle in Germany and they saw the Germans throwing things in a lake. After they secured the castle they pulled a bunch of firearms out of the lake. My pistol was one of them, a soldier brought it back and I got it from his wife after he died years later. On a side note also have a Russian sniper scope that my dad brought back.

Don't forget the S&W Victory and the Colt Commando. I have a Colt Official Police that I got a Colt letter for that states it went to the Des Moines Ordnance Plant in 1942.
