Re: GOA Legal Victory in Philadelphia
Thanks. We still have to win the case but the injunction is a major setback for the City and a good win in the interim.

Re: GOA Legal Victory in Philadelphia
OK, now this is the latest in a long running series, I know there were some that never made it to court due to lack of standing, etc. SO my question has Philly EVER won any of these that have gone to trial? Of course and unfortunately the answer is that it doesn't matter since there is no down side to them after all it's OPM and they keep getting elected to burn it.

I'm a Life NRA member - they seem to have lost their way as I've not heard of the NRA doing much good for 2A in a number of years. I have supported GOA for the last several years as they seem like the only effective 2A organization.

Re: GOA Legal Victory in Philadelphia
You could've let everyone know that it wasn't a decision on the merits of the motion for a preliminary injunction, but rather based merely on the City agreeing to the injunction during the pendency of the action. From the docket Order "UPON CONSIDERATION OF THE PLAINTIFF'S MOTION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION, THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA'S RESPONSE, AND BY AGREEMENT OF THE PARITES (sic), IT IS ORDERED THAT THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA IS ENJOINED FROM ENFORCING THE PROVISIONS OF THE PHILADELPHIA CODE ??10-2000 TO 10-2005 UNTIL THIS COURT MAKES A FINAL DETERMINATION. PER THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT AND THIS ORDER, THE CITY WILL NOT PURSUE VIOLATIONS OF THE PHILADELPHIA ??10-2000 TO 10-2005 UNTIL THIS COURT MAKES A FINAL DETERMINATION ON THE MERITS.
