Okay, so I've heard JSD Supply bought out Eagle Shows. Apparently they are no longer advertising how many tables, which is a bit of of a problem, because I don't want to make a 80 minute round trip and pay to get in, only to find that it's a piddly little show.

I also see that all the Oaks shows are 3 days now, and the entry fee was bumped to $13.

I considered going to Morgantown today, but being about an hour from me, I also don*t want to waste my time if it sucks.

I thought about going, it's only 25 minutes of back roads from me but I don't need anything and don't expect prices to be attractive. I could make a two-fer out of it and check out the shiny new casino.

I got a response back from Eagle Shows. There will be about 350 tables.

I went today. It was an okay show. A couple of odd things I noticed:
    1) Indian River Collectibles was there. Anybody who goes to shows in the Philly area has seen this guy and his wife - he has almost a museum collection of milsurps without price tags. When you ask for pricing, you find out why he still has them all.
    2) There were a couple tables selling marijuana related stuff. Is pot legal in PA now? Or were these some sort of watered down "PA legal" products similar to PA legal fireworks?

Any reports on the new casino that is now open just across the turnpike?

Is that the table that basically has a bunch of signs talking about their collection? A bunch of nice USGI 1911s? I saw them at Oaks and felt they pay for the tables just to show off their stuff. Why else wouldn't you have price tags?

I went this morning. What a waste of time. The place was almost empty and there were about 3 to 1 tables of junk blades and everything else. Not many guns to be purchased. My son bought a nice FN 509 LS EDGE for a great price. Going back tomorrow because one of the dealers promised me that he would bring in a Kimber R7 Mako for me to look at it and maybe purchase at a great price. Several tables were not set up, maybe tomorrow.

What do you want to know? I haven't gone but one of my buddies checked it out. He reported that it was not too crowded and they had $15 blackjack tables.

Bought one gun at a great price, maybe two and going back? That doesn't sound like a waste of time.
