Probably not, its pretty small. Also more of a bits and pieces show as oppose to a place to buy guns.

No. I live an hour away and I'm not going.

Raxar is spot-on; a lot of bits, pieces, and accessories that gives one the impression that some vendors are just cleaning out their closets and basements. What guns will be there are generally overpriced.

The promoter got very lucky exactly a year ago when this show was the only one in western PA, and it was slammed on Saturday with 1500 people searching for 9mm and 5.56/223 ammo. Since then, he's doing well to get 1/5 that many people the whole weekend.

Well, thanks for the support guys. Overpriced, just cleaning out their closet or basement, not a place to buy guns, and actually we average around 900 to 1000 the entire weekend these days. The show you're talking about was 1900 on Saturday and another 1000 on Sunday. Overpriced is subjective to cheap people, there are always parts dealers at every show, but we are doing the best we can to grow it. It's not in Pittsburgh or Erie, there are no huge buildings around this area or I would have rented it. But really, thanks for the support from the PA Firearms Owners Ass for making us feel welcome and the support in trying to grow PA small business. It's funny, people order and ebay and amazon to save a buck, then have the audacity to walk into a local business and ask them to donate to XYZ club, group, team, event or whatever. You did however forget to mention that we were one of the shows that didn't cower to the Governor over covid, or not like Eagle that agreed to limit your rights by banning the sale of 80% frames, or that we ENCOURAGE CCW not ban it. But really... I appreciate the support from the staff here, thanks.

    I been there , yeah it's small.
One guy here was setting up there and seemed happy with it.
If you go , make a day of it and also visit Yoders on the other side of Punxy.

Heck I been to many small shows. Shippenville's for one.
Mahaffy VFD show was so small ....
    How small was it?
It was so small , when I walked in the number of firearms in the building doubled.

And over priced guns at a gun show?
I expect nothing less , aren't they all?
But I'm thinking this dude must have stepped on some puppies or is banging someones wife on the side.
    Am I missing something?
Ther's always the social aspect of the shows but with social media , who got time for dat?

I attended this show once and it was a good show for a show of its size. If I recall correctly there was an Amish gent who had every "classic" wood/metal PA hunting rifle you could imagine.

Thanks.... and if I did she never told me. I hope she does now tho. If they are that butt hurt I'll shave her back before I send her home so they don't recognize her.

No backstory as far as I know. I gave my assessment to someone who asked if it was worth a 2 hour drive. The reason for the promoter blowing a gasket is beyond me.
