Anyone been to this show before? Is it worth a 3 hour drive?

Ive been to it several times over the past couple of years. It's an average sized show for Pennsylvania. To me it's better to wait to go to the show they have in York or in Oaks PA if you're 3 hours away. But that's my opinion. Still a decent show nonetheless.

March 5th & 6th. Not too far in the future.

Just to clarify: The next York show is February 26-27. The next Gettysburg is March 5-6.

As for driving three hours for Gettysburg. Depends how bad you need a show fix. I drive three hours for it but I'm one of the gun dealers. It's a pretty decent show most times. The January show is usually the best one.

I just discovered I'm late being informed on information noted in my last post. I stand corrected. I was just informed that the date for the York Gun Show has been changed and it is indeed March 5-6. Alas this is the same weekend as the next Gettysburg.

Gees; what in the name of Good Christ are these promoters doing with the competing show dates. This puts both vendors AND show patrons in a hell of a spot. Most have to pick one or the other as time and resources are limited. Patrons can usually only get to one show due to limited time and funds. They are likely to miss items they want as they can't be in both places. Most vendors can usually only set up at one show due to inventory and personnel issues. No matter which show they choose to do they loose the other venue and it's revenue. Depending on the show they have to miss, this can be a considerable income loss.
