Re: Pro 2A site assists anti-gun agenda
Shooting during/at mass = mass shooting. Do I have that right?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Yeah, the number fluctuates, but last I heard it was "3" that qualifies.
Several years ago there was a "mass shooting" in Wilkinsburg that made the news for a week or more, with the feds being involved and the words "mass shooting" being echoed over and over and over again as though the media was determined to put Pittsburgh on the map for the ratings. (well, that's EXACTLY what they were doing)
All it was was a drug dealer feud - it wasn't a "mass shooting" the way normal people would think of one.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Yes, it matters very much. Words matter. They are buzz words that are used for fear tactics. They are purposely chosen by the Left to instill fear in people who don't know any different.
"High capacity magazine" is a great example. A 30 round magazine for an AR is standard. It's a standard capacity magazine. Standard capacity. Absolutely no reason to call it a high capacity magazine, except to make it sound scary and evil.
A regular Glock 17 comes with a standard 17 round magazine. You can get it with a 10 round magazine for the states that require them. The 10 rounders are restricted magazines. The 17 rounds aren't high capacity, they are the standard ones. If anything, you could say the 33 round magazines are "high capacity", since they are higher than the ones that come normally with the firearm.
The same applies to "mass shooting" and "assault weapon."

Oooooh. Words! Bad words! Bad! You should add "he/she" in your list of bad words, because the left weaponizes those, too.
Nope, not me. As soon as ammo prices drop, I'll be taking my assault weapons to the range and blowing through high capacity magazine after high capacity magazine. FUN. And the reason for that is the 2nd amendment enumerates my right to own those very items.

With the hundreds of shootings in major cities there has been a cross-section of police commanders wearing eagles and stars using terms like high-powered rifle, ignorant of, or lying about the fact they are amping up a medium-power caliber.
