Default medical marijuana card and gun purchase paperwork

Now that Marijuana is medically legal in Pennsylvania that obviously puts us at odds with the federal government. When you're purchasing a firearm and are asked on the paperwork if you use any illegal substances you technically have to answer yes since it's illegal at the federal level and you're filling out federal forms correct? This has always lead me to believe that people with their medical marijuana card are being denied their 2nd amendment rights but i'd be interested to hear from people who have gone through the process or from one of the couple gun lawyers that frequent the site.

Yep. Become an illegal drug user, kiss those gun rights goodbye.

Getting high, or getting armed...where do your priorities lie?

Uh, yes. There are several threads on this, going back 10 years at least. Marijuana use makes it illegal for you to even hold a firearm, or obtain a LTCF, by Federal law.

Incorrect. People who choose to seek and receive a medical marijuana card are choosing to forfeit their 2nd Amendment right.

    Life if full of choices.

Do you really need to get stoned?

Or would you rather protect yourself from getting stoned to death?

Drop the pipe and pick up a gun.

Just for fun, I did a google image search for "drop the pipe and pick up a gun". Interesting results. #15 was this:
