Yeah we know all of that,my post was just a response to the complaint,or observation of the AK price of six hundred dollars. While not as low as some used to be that price is actually not too bad as I have seen them priced far higher.

    Coping mechanism.

Vain attempt to get the seller to sympathize.

    A moment of nostalgia lol.

As far as PSA AK's go, I've seen enough posts on social media featuring ill-fitting and deformed parts leading to failures. Maybe they have nailed it down by now? I'd still consider it a roll of the dice.

I don't know about all of that but I would love to be able to find an AK in the configuration that I want it in for as cheaply as six hundred bucks.

I was perusing the PSA website looking for an AK. Nothing less than 999 dollars.

The first model of AK was stamped, but Russian technology at the time wasn't quite good enough and they were rejecting too many receivers that failed quality control so they went to the milled model.

Also, their "blem" AKs have been going on sale every week for the past couple of months. Just need to sign up for notifications from PSA, or get on MrGunsnGear's mailing list.

If those that think AK 47 carbines are expensive, did you ever check the prices of ten round top loaded SKS rifles? I saw two of them in two separate gun stores over the last two months. Both were priced at $699. The SKS and the Ruger mini 14 were at one time the poor man's semi auto. Now days they outprice AK and AR 15s.
