Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 (manuf. 1897) 38-55
Looking for a gunsmith that KNOWS what they're doing for the aforementioned rifle, to answer some questions and possibly make it a shooter (rarely!). Maybe (but I doubt it) in the York area?
Barrel says 38-55, but the cartridge guides won't let the Winchester 38-55 round rise above them to be loaded into the chamber.Last edited by LowFlyer; December 21st, 2021 at 02:54 PM.

Encks in Myerstown does a lot of cowboy action stuff. Might be worth a call, depending what it needs. They usually have a number of re-pros in their shop, and sometimes originals.
