Who else uses this sighting arrangement and what are your experiences/preferences?
My current EDC gun (and its spare), a Shadow Systems MR918 has this set up. Works good for me.

My Glock 26 has Trijicon HD night sights, front and rear - also work good for me. (Front: Yellow Outline / Green Tritium, Rear: Black Outline / Green Tritium)
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

I have noticed I am more accurate with a front sight-- either fiber optic or Ameriglo orange ring with a tritium insert than with 3 dots... The older I get, my eyes are picking up the front sight a lot faster, especially if it is bright..

The only drawbacks with a plain fiberoptic front sight is lighting conditions... hence using a weaponlight with it. On my Glock MOS, I went with black rear an Ameriglo front and the sight combo works great. Once I get more trigger time on my MR920 it will go into the EDC replacing my Glock 23.
