    Default Battle box

Has anyone ever used or sighted up for a battle box monthly kit? Worth it? Any thoughts?

Why pay a monthly fee for products somebody else picked out for you.
Would you go to a grocery store and say give me $50 worth of food without saying want you want.

    Waste of money.

Yes, people actually do pay for those services. Too many people don't even want to think about the simplest of things. People think that they're special because someone is curating their life.

I've never heard of these, so I just looked it up. All I can say is "Huh?"

I have seen similar...."deals" and I can't be mad at whichever enterprising folks came up with the silliness, they'll get a few suckers to buy into it.

Time vs money. People have more of one of the other and are happy to pay for convenience. Nothing wrong with that.

I usually change oil myself. But I'm going to pay to get my wife's car's oil changed soon. Why? Because I feel like shit and I don't feel like crawling around on a cold garage floor to save $20-$30 right now. I also have a bunch of construction materials in there that I don't feel like moving around so i can try to fit the car in there.

I also need to rotate the tires...it's overdue. Have not decided if I am going to pay for that or not. But if I do, it will be for the same reason. But if I do, it will be for the same reason. What stops me isn't the money, it's the fact that it will take them all fucking day to do what they should be able to do in 15 minutes. At that point, any notion of convenience is gone. You're just paying to get it done.

People spend their money different ways. I don't understand why anyone would pay $5 to drink a beer in a bar when they can drink one at home for $1 (last I checked, no idea where prices are these days). It strikes me as ridiculous. But it's not like I care if they do (unless I'm paying for it)

Sometimes people are willing to pay just to get something done. They will procrastinate forever if they have to do it themselves, but for a fee they can just get it done and over with. Not entirely unreasonable.

I wouldn't be upset to get battlebox as a gift.

Some of the stuff is kinda cool. Might even keep me from splurging on as much random shit like pocket knives and such.
