Makes no difference to me: I refuse to pay the government $200 for things that I should be able to own outright. "Shall Not Be Infringed"

The fingerprint ten card is coded using rolled inked finger impressions. Flat impressions scanned on a printer won't do. The optical scan systems at police stations capture the sides of fingers as well as the "flat", simulating rolled impressions. So home-spun submissions is unlikely to happen until home printers include that need.

I'm not sure I follow the issue, you can order the FD-258 fingerprint cards and do them at home. How would me scanning that fingerprint card be any different? Everything I did for my Form 1's were done at home, no need to go to a police station.

I wonder if the poor sob's waiting on paper form 4's for 6-12 months can cancel their request and refile eform 4's and get their stuff sooner.

Yeah but suppressors are awesome. SBRs are kinda dumb with pistols being a thing (save for a few certain varieties) and MGs are fantasy land in my world. I wish they'd pull supressors from the nfa, or ditch the whole thing

They're advising against that saying it will take longer. Sucks for me, my check just cashed last week

Not sure what you are saying here. You may fill out the card(s) yourself, but cannot do your fingerprints. A police officer or designated service must do them. After that, you could send them in whatever fashion is available.

NFA is one of the places where you CAN self-fingerprint. I've done it on a NFA trust as well as an individual NFA stamp.

Good to know. Sounds like they are not classifying them, just filing the package.
