Ammo can source(geocaching/etc)
My son and I are into the geocaching thing, and I'm looking for a source of ammo cans (50/762/223) in NEPA for our first hidden cache.
Given the current events, now looks like a great time to start stocking up on ammo, which is conveniently served by the same need.
Anyone know of a good cheap source? Ebay has them, but after shipping I might as well buy cans of ammo full in bulk.

The Army Surplus store in Lewistown, PA has (by far) the best prices I've seen. I'd advise calling ahead if you're making a special trip.
I pass through at least once a year, and always stop to grab a couple.
'Lock-n-lock' containers also do an excellent job of keeping your geocache dry.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: Ammo can source(geocaching/etc)
I find mine at gun shows, bought one earlier this year for $4 and it was in mint condition. I just ordered 800 rounds of M2 Ball and it comes in .50 cal cans which is great for me.

Re: Ammo can source(geocaching/etc)
I use ammo cans for some of my geocaches, however mine were saved from my time in the USMC
Ammo cans are not that easy to find locally. Sometimes Sportsman's Guide or other online places will run deals where you can get several for a decent price.
Many people have stopped using the ammo cans for caches and instead use the plastic lock 'n load containers from Wal-Mart.
