    Default Flash hider for .45 pistol

    I just got an FNX 45 tactical with the threaded barrel. I was thinking of putting some type of muzzle device on such as a flash hider in place of the thread protector. Most people suggest getting a silencer but dont feel like paying $200 and waiting.
    Which muzzle device would you recommend for this .45ACP pistol other than a silencer?

    If you're gonna carry it, any device other than the thread protector is likely to result in a nightmare trying to find a holster.
