As people lose their senses and aimlessly wander in the streets, expecting the rest of the world to look out for them, this trend shall continue. The narrative that one needs to look out for themself is being stifled and everyone expects others to care for them.

While I agree, as far as I can tell the woman was sitting in the passenger seat of the car while it was parked. Not much situational awareness can do for you at that point.

Nope but that would be the rare death by hit run, sitting in the car.

How many times was the term "weaselly murdering racist mother fugger" [one word] hurled at Larry?

An apparent road rage incident led to a fatal shooting and violent crash in West Philadelphia on Friday morning. It happened just before 9 a.m. on the 5600 block of Locust Street.

In the pouring rain, police sources an argument over a parking space Friday morning ended with a man pulling out a gun and shooting another man at 54th and Locust Streets in West Philadelphia. The shooting victim was behind the wheel of a Buick and drove two blocks west to 56th and Locust Streets. He crashed into the side of a business and later died at the hospital.
Investigators were tight-lipped about the early morning road rage killing. Sources in the Philadelphia Police Department told CBS Philadelphia that the shooter, whom they say had a permit to carry, was taken into custody a short time after the deadly argument.

KIA...is that a brand name, an aspiration or a prediction?

A woman who died from her injuries after she was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle and then hit by a second vehicle that remained at the scene in West Philadelphia has been identified as Darlene Gaston, police said.

Gaston, form the 6200 block of Addison Street, was crossing the intersection at 49th Street and Lancaster Avenue at 8:18 p.m. on Tuesday when she was hit by a speeding white Mitsubishi traveling westbound, police said. The crash launched the woman into the air and she landed in the eastbound lanes where she was struck by a second vehicle, a gold Nissan, according to investigators.

The driver of the white Mitsubishi fled the scene while the driver of the Nissan remained, police said.
